
Susan L. Guinn has a national practice, with offices in California. The Law Offices of Susan L. Guinn has an emphasis in consumer protection, including environmental law, product liability, business litigation, birth injury medical malpractice, severe personal injury, and insurance bad faith.
She received her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from the University of New Mexico and graduated from the University Of Denver School Of Law with her J.D.
Ms. Guinn has successfully litigated cases ranging from severe personal injury to business litigation, which have resulted in several multi-million dollar recoveries for her clients.
As a partner in a prior firm, Ms. Guinn was co-counsel representing the County of Los Angeles in its unfair business practices lawsuit against the tobacco industry.
She is a member of the State Bar of California, and is or has been in the past a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California (“CAOC”), the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association, the Western Trial Lawyers Association (“WTLA”), the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (“ATLA”), the Attorneys Information Exchange Group (“AIEG”), and Trial Lawyers for Public Justice (“TLPJ”). Ms Guinn served as a Board Member for CAOC from approximately 1996 through 2000, and was elected to serve as President of WTLA for two consecutive terms, from June of 2000 to June of 2002. As a sustaining member of ATLA, she served as co-chair of the Publications Committee and was an Executive Committee Member of the Product Liability Section.
She is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of California, in the United States District Court for the Southern and Central Districts, the Courts of the State of Colorado, and in the District of Columbia.
Ms. Guinn has also been a frequent lecturer for CAOC, WTLA, AIEG, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, and ATLA.
